Queste pecorelle sono alcune delle “cupcakes” che abbiamo preparato per la festa di compleanno di Arya.
Tutto quello che vedete in foto l’abbiamo fatto noi!
Oggi in ufficio il palazzo ha iniziato a dondolare. Ci stavamo guardando l’un l’altro chiedendoci (un pochino allarmati) che cosa stesse succedendo. Mi chiedevo se fosse il caso di fare una veloce e dignitosa corsa verso le scale piu’ vicine mentre il pavimento continuava a fare su e giu’ in maniera dolce e controllata. Qualche secondo dopo, qualcun altro invece, punta il dito al suo schermo e urla: “Terremoto in Virginia!”. Incredibile come l’informazione ci ha raggiunto quasi alla stessa velocita’ delle vibrazioni. Hmmm…. in teoria ci potrebbe raggiungere anche piu’ velocemente delle vibrazioni stesse…Â mi ricorda di questo …

Today at work the building started shaking. We were all looking at each other wondering what was going on. I was thinking whether it was time to make a quick and dignified escape to the nearest stairwell as the floor kept softly oscillating. A few seconds later someone else on the trading floor looked at his news feed on his monitor and screamed: “Earthquake in Virginia!” . Incredible how the information reached us almost as fast as the vibrations. Hmmm… theoretically it could be even faster… which reminds me of this
Ce l’abbiamo fatta! Abbiamo fatto i tozzetti a casa! Questo e’ solo il secondo tentativo! (meglio non parlare del primo)

We did it! Home made “biscotti”. We finally managed on the second try! (we don’t want to talk about the first try)
Ma quanta ne e’ venuta! Non siamo riusciti a uscire di casa tutto il giorno, arrivava alle ginocchia! Abbiamo aspettato che smettesse per quasi tutto il giorno prima di iniziare a spalare

So much snow came down! We couldn’t even get out of the house. Had to wait for the afternoon to start cleaning out. It was up to our knees!
ecco finalmente le prime immagini ufficiali del nuovo tavolo e sedie. Ci siamo seduti su almeno una trentina di sedie e tavoli per tre fine settimana prima di riuscire a trovarne uno comodo!
